They share the common goal of promoting tolerance and integration through sensitizations and intercultural activities while enhancing refugees’ self-reliance, participation and engagement.

Project aims

The main goal is to promote tolerance and integration through sensitizations and intercultural activities while enhancing refugees’ self-reliance, participation and engagement.

Main activities of the Good Practice

Since its creation, Vivre Ensemble sensitized over 15,000 students and young Moroccans on asylum and local integration, mainly in cities hosting large numbers of refugees such as Casablanca, Oujda, Rabat and Tangier. Vivre Ensemble also actively participates in trainings for civil society actors and partners. In the early days of the pandemic, they encouraged refugees to strictly adhere to restriction measures and supported the distribution of food baskets and rent assistance to vulnerable refugees and migrants. Their active role during the pandemic earned them UNHCR’s Refugee Led NGO Innovation Award in late 2020.
