600+ people joined the high-level launch event of the IASC Youth Guidelines that took place virtually on 16th February 2021, including many young people and panelists across the UN, civil society, academia, Member States and donors. The graphics are visual notes of the launch event that highlights the voices of young people and the strong commitments of humanitarian actors to rollout the guidelines and ensure that humanitarian action.

The IASC Youth Guidelines was the result of an extensive interagency process led by UNICEF and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) under Compact for Young People in Humanitarian Action and the Inter-Agency Standing Committee. This flagship document, the first of its kind, sets the standards and principles to facilitate the systematic inclusion of, and engagement with, young people in humanitarian, protracted and peacebuilding contexts. Training rollouts are planned to support humanitarian actors to work with and for young people, including young internally displaced, migrants and refugees, across all sectors and stages of the humanitarian programme cycle. It has been rolled out in several online webinars, in-person in Iraq and hybrid (online and in person) in Cox's Bazar Bangladesh.
