This year marks the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention. In recognition of this, UNHCR has created the Partner Platform - a digital library to host reports, articles, videos, and other content produced by the international community highlighting the work being done around the 10 action areas.

Yuliveth Jardín, a mechanical and electrical engineering student at National University of Engineering in Peru, is building a career in science and technology after being forced to flee Venezuela in 2019. In 2024, she became the first Venezuelan woman admitted to the university’s Mechanical and Electrical Engineering programme.
