Escaping War, Pursuing Justice: Waka’s Story
When war forced Waka to flee South Sudan in 2016, he didn't give up on his education. While living in Sherkole Refugee Camp in Ethiopia, he earned his Bachelor's degree in law and now dreams of studying human rights law. Despite limited internet access and resources in the camp, Waka is applying for scholarships to further his education with support from RefugePoint. Wake hopes to one day stand up for those who don't have a voice.
