GAIN at the Global Refugee Forum 2023
GAIN at the Global Refugee Forum 2023
The Global Academic Interdisciplinary Network, as the main academic network connecting UNHCR and academic institutions willing to contribute to achieving the four objectives of the Global Compact on Refugees, will coordinate academic participation at the Global Refugee Forum (GRF).
Invitations will prioritize researchers and scholars with lived experience of displacement, signatories of the localization of knowledge and solidarity pledge and Sergio Vieira de Mello Chairs (GAIN flagship initiative). Invitations will also observe geographical balance, and age, gender and diversity considerations. If you are interested in contributing to or attending the GRF, please fill out this form. GAIN make utmost efforts to mainstream academic contributions across different themes discussed at the GRF. Therefore, sharing information about your teaching, research and solidarity activities is very important to ensure meaningful and fit-for-purpose academic participation.
