Description
The Online Portuguese Platform presents content for the acquisition of European Portuguese by adults who speak other languages.
Project aims
This Platform is a tool that allows the user to develop listening, reading and writing skills. In addition, it also allows the user to learn and extend vocabulary and grammar knowledge to use the language.
Resources used
The fact that the High Commission for Migration is involved in the national program “Portuguese for All” helped with the project.

Objective 2: Enhance refugee self-reliance
Challenges and how they were overcome
The adaptation of different levels and translation in different languages (Portuguese, Spanish, English and Arabic).
The contents are organized in two levels – Level A and Level B presented in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and it has 24 functional thematic modules, presented in text, audio, video and image format.
Results of the Good Practice
Special regarding the distribution of refugees almost all over the country, the platform is very useful not only for refugees but also for entities and volunteers who help them on the apprenticeship of the language.
Additionally, the platform is also available for refugees before coming to Portugal. Specially those who have already been part of selection missions.
