High-Level Side Event Commemorating 75 Years of the 1951 Refugee Convention

The side event commemorating 75 Years of the Refugee Convention will take place in the ECOSOC Chamber at UN Headquarters in New York, United States of America, during the UN General Assembly High-Level Week.
For 75 years, the 1951 Refugee Convention has helped save lives, protect rights and provided a framework through which millions of refugees have found safety and rebuilt their lives. This high-level side event will seek to reaffirm that shared commitment and mobilize action and solidarity with and for refugees to uphold protection and expand solutions.
Delegations are welcome to submit their written statements in support of the 1951 Refugee Convention and to further refugee protection. Any statements submitted will be published on this page.
